For the majority of my life, my companions have been a camera, a notebook and football. Writing was my release. Football was an old family friend. But my passion for cinema and audiovisuals began when I began to film my little brother’s football games. I then took it upon myself to create more than that. So I made movies starring our toys.
I then went to study Communications in Universidad Del Valle de Mexico for two years until I moved to Atlanta, Georgia. Here, I’ve had the opportunity to socialize amongst different types of people. Allowing myself to learn and acquire knowledge from others’ perspectives and understand different ways to capture the beauty of anything and everything.
Like many young adults trying to make it in the world, I’ve had many jobs, but always maintained my goal of doing what I love. Filmmaking. For me, there is no work in that. There is joy. Therefore, I will always immerse myself in doing what I love to do, because fortune favors the bold. I have only one life; only one chance to do so.
